The Green Blue

Thanks to The Green Blue for inviting us to talk on the Foredeck Stage yesterday at Southampton Boat Show about our BLUE OCEAN manifesto. This is incredibly important to us at Marlow Ropes and we appreciated the opportunity to share our sustainability message and mission with everyone.

Great catching up with the In Our Element rowing team from Premier Marinas yesterday at Southampton Boat Show ūüĆä The intrepid team of four will be rowing a distance of 3,000 miles to English Harbour, Antigua, in an estimated 45 to 50 days.

The team will be raising awareness and funds for the University of Portsmouth Centre for Enzyme Innovation which is leading pioneering research which could revolutionise plastic use and help reduce the scourge of ocean plastic pollution ūüĎć

Keep up the amazing work guys!!

We're pleased to welcome Elvstr√łm Sails UK onto The Green Blue Business Directory! Their sailcloth (pictured) is made from EKKO recycled plastic. With every Elvstr√łm sail that contains recycled materials they collect 1 kg of plastic from the oceans through the ReSea Project ūüĆäūüĎŹ‚õĶ

Great to catch-up with them at the Southampton Boat Show!
