Test your sustainable boating knowledge with your online quiz cards.

A great resource for any boater to increase their knowledge of the key environmental issues associated with boating and the best practice that can be adopted to minimise any impacts from our boating activities.

Recommended for Royal Yachting Association Instructors to use with their students to increase awareness and promote discussions around the environment and boating.

Happy #BiodiversityDay! ūüź¨ūüź≥ūüźčūüź†This year's theme is Our Solutions are in Nature.

Jellyfish are a great example of this. As part of their defence against predators, Jellyfish produce bio-luminescence which has provided new ways for us to see biological processes through tracking cancer cells and infectious agents.

Boating sustainably is vital in order to protect the amazing wildlife and nature that we share our waters with.

Sustainable Boating For Cleaner, Healthier Waters

Whilst in lock down on Strangford Lough, sailors Colin and Rebecca have been continuing to make their 8 month voyage more sustainable. Starting off by giving 'Cariad' a good clean with eco-friendly boat products and avoiding bleach, chlorine or phosphate.

Thank you Angus at Ecoworks Marine‚Äč for donating your range of more environmentally friendly marine cleaning products to #cariadvoyage. The feedback is.... Cariad has scrubbed up well!
